Hawaiian Bouquet
When my friend called me up a week before her Hawaiian wedding and said, "Hey you're creative, would you mind doing the flowers for the wedding?" I was about to freak out. But then I realized I could just pack a few yards of our satin ribbon. That with a little florist wire, and some pretty pins made it easy to pull together these bouquets for her big day. To make it easy I used a little pin when I started wrapping the ribbon around the stems and then secured it with the prettier one. Because I wanted to get these finished before I got ready (I was also a bridesmaid!) I put them in glasses of water to keep them fresh. Our satin ribbon can get wet no problem, and while it may darken the color a little, it won't have any effect on the beautiful sheen of the ribbon.
